Love Goddess Mini by Danielle Bernstein

Danielle Bernstein is a New York City native, major league thriftier, and true entrepreneur. In September 2011 she began photographing street style on campus at the Fashion Institute of Technology (where she attends school). The street style blog quickly grew and so did Danielle’s klout throughout the fashion industry. Taking a new direction after Fall New York Fashion Week 11′, WE WORE WHAT began focusing on Danielle’s personal style. “I aim to provide my readers with a daily lookbook of outfit inspiration,” she says, always looking to her followers for support and advice. When not blogging, Danielle is taking advantage of everything this city has to offer. Whether it’s vintage shopping in Brooklyn, trips to the MET, or out and about the nightlife scene, she’s always keeping busy. The fashion blogger has taken leaps towards her career goals the way bargain shoppers do at a sample sale.

The Feather Junkie

Loving this new shoot by The Feather Junkie of our Dreamweaver Maxi in Meika Rose. Stunning!!

Photography: Ella Parks Photography
Model: Maddison Piper
Hair/makeup: Brooke Hornberger
Styling: Ashley Featherston
Assistant Styling: Sydney Kosanda

“We have gone to the Texas State Fair every year for the past 5 years.  Our birthday is always on opening weekend so its kinda routine at this point. The best part is of course eating something fried, something on a stick and going through Midway when it gets dark out and playing games, and seeing all the neon lights. Many would prolly say the ferris wheel is the highlight of any fair but since we’re scared of heights and Texas is known for its massively tall wheel….we stick to both feet on the ground people watching, sample tasting, eating to much cotton candy and trying to win a stuff animal twice our size…which we have yet to win. So its needless to say it was the perfect place to shoot some of our fall pieces”

Wild & Free by Corina Alulquoy Brown

We love collaborating with talented designers and writers, so were really excited to receive some beautiful photographs from jewellery designer Corina Alulquoy Brown of “Wild & Free Jewellery”.

When setting up her label Wild & Free in 2011, Corina was inspired by the words of Henry David Thoreau, that “all good things are wild and free”.

Corina writes on her blog, “All designs and photography are inspired by my cultural heritage and fashion from around the globe. I strive to create one of a kind objects that reflect unique individual styles, designed to stand out and embody the general philosophy of living wild and free”.

Check out Corina’s latest post featuring our Songbird Kimono in Meika Rose

Here are some photos from the blog. Click here if you would like to purchase this Kimono through our online store.
