The Den of Thieves: Heyoka Leather 2013 Fall Campaign

I am obsessed with this this shoot By Alexandra Valenti for Heyoka Leather’s latest Fall Campaign The Den of Thieves.
Heyoka is renowned for their custom handcrafted leather goods. Using carefully sourced wild elk hides and deer skins, with only the finest quality natural antler bone, brass and silver adornments. Paying homage to and combining their various roots in traditional Native American ceremonies, decadent Hollywood nightlife mystique, and redneck outlaw biker culture.

Photographed by: Alexandra Valenti
Models: Nathalie Kelley, Kelley Ash, Serena T, Stephen McCarty and Rocco de Luca
Stylist: Tracy Conti McCarty aka Prism of Threads
Make-up: Debbie Gallagher
Hair: Melissa Adelaide

Featuring pics and styling from some of our fave fashion bloggers from all over the world.
This beautiful, ultra-feminine maxi kimono is an outfit in itself. Wear it from season to season, style it your own way. One things for sure it comes with a lot of compliments and smiles.

If there ever was one to watch it is Henrik Purienne. Photographer, film maker and founder of Mirage Magazine. The recent publication of his work has sent us reeling into the retro modern encapsulation of glamour. Womanhood hedonist, his visual art is beyond any ability to capture femininity and power in the one shot. From sex and indifference to sensuality and intimacy, all the right components are clearly showcased.

When I was a teen I used to walk the streets of Worcester, my hometown in South Africa… Portraits of wannabe satanists, lost dogs and plastic bags blowing in the wind, you know. I had a great teacher and a skeleton key to the art school darkroom…”

While most photographers embrace new technology and SLR cameras, Purienne prefers the beauty of untouched, old school photographs. Without a doubt his talent is epic, adroit staging and composition, ingenious use of light, and impeccable styling—all the skills that have made him one of todays most sought-after fashion photographers.

Fields of Gold

Byron Bay is such a melting pot of creativity, we are constantly inspired by the amazingly artistic people around us. We recently teamed up with some local talent to create this beautiful photoshoot, featuring our Songbird Kimono in Ocar Dusk.

Talented photographer David Hauserman plays with golden light in these gorgeous pics, which also feature the beautiful pieces of Jewels By Jacqueline, and underwear by Amilita the Label.

We were stoked to team up with the very talented Portland based photographer Amanda Leigh Smith for this photoshoot. Capturing some of our new styles mixed in with some classic ones, I love how this shoot captures the seasons colliding – the lazy summer days of Oregon giving way to Autumn, as here in the southern hemisphere the long awaited summer is slowly showing signs of awakening once again. You can almost hear the creaking of the brakes being released as the seasons start to change.
